I recall what fears accompanied me and my family in the year 2025. At that time, a time of war at Poland's borders, armaments, uncertainty about the future. But I believed then that such people as the Kremlin dictator and his ilk would pass away and the citizens of the free world would not allow such depraved and dangerous people to come to the fore in the future. And so it happened. Those who violated the right to life in 2022 passed away in disgrace and a time of stability came. It was then possible to focus humanity's attention on nutritional well-being, nature conservation and energy drawn from nature. Now chimneys don't smoke like they did in the second decade of the century, we have stopped glaciers and the fear of the effects of global warming is gone forever. Looking back now, Europe in the third and fourth decades of the 21st century achieved the most in the race for the welfare of the planet. Others lagged slightly behind but the global pressure was so great that the challenges facing humanity were downplayed. Our technological progress, the successful penetration of planets which at the time in 2025 was a dream and a difficult challenge has become a reality. I have the satisfaction that our planet has cleared the specter of fear about the uncertainty of tomorrow. I have the satisfaction that we are comfortable in sustainable well-being. I have the satisfaction that humanity has learned the right lessons from the failures of that time.
