As the US election just happened, I’ve been reading up on the situation there and am deeply worried about the future of America and how it will affect us all globally. I worry that global warming will worsen and that inequality between genders, races, nationalities, sexual orientations, …. will deepen. I seriously hope that we as a species can work together despite our differences and make a positive change.

The future would be colourful and varied, with respect, empathy and communication being the main themes in society. The environment would not be filled with competition, beauty and perfection, but with the individuality of the individual. There would be a shift from materialism to minimalism, people would be accepted as they are. Society would want to address the ecological crisis head-on.
