By 2040, it will be understood as a global truth that the age of despotic imperialism is over; liberal democracy will have flourished to all corners of the globe. The widespread adoption of green renewable energy means no more resource conflicts, or propping up oppressive regimes. As Ireland opened up more paths for consumer investment it meant the practice of property hoarding became unfashionable and unnecessary.
