I may not live that long, 2040 I am almost 90 years old, but therefore I may well have wishes for future generations, including my children and grandchildren and their families and acquaintances.

I hope that our generation leaves a planet that is habitable in the way that there are resources for all people on our planet.

I hope that the geopolitical situation becomes more stable, and can allow aggressive regimes to go to violent wars - as some say, after the next world war, the next war will be fought with clubs.

I hope greed doesn't control everything - it makes no sense that 2% of the world's people own and have more than 98% of the resources, it's crazy that oligarchs and the like have private planes, huge Loose-croucers and the senseless consumption of energy that comes with it.

I believe that science is gaining advances in transport, renewable energy, insight into diseases that can be cured by new types of medicine and lifestyles where people do not work their way to death, smoke and eat their way to diseases, etc.
