In the future, I would like the environment to remain vibrant. This, however, is a result of technological progress, so that there has been no need to significantly reduce the standard of living. Hopefully, small changes to a more thrifty lifestyle have come and individuals will adapt to those changes. Businesses are still operating, but more energy efficient than they are today. Some of the current predictable inventions never materialized, for example, artificial intelligence did not take on such a significant role as had been anticipated.

Of the states, the nation-states are still standing, but are able to cooperate with each other without arguing about every conflict of interest. You can be proud of a nation-state and exercise sports in its name without unnecessary nationalistic defiance. The last point may be the most difficult to implement with the current development, but you can always dream.

However, the fauna of northern Europe has changed, for example, fish species that have never been able to survive here before are cultivated here. Some species of animals have disappeared, unfortunately. Forests can be managed better than at present, and meat production is partly also produced elsewhere than in production pigs or chickens. People are starting to appreciate their free time more. There are livelihoods around silence and silence, the direction of tourism is partly turning from south to north. Massaturism is starting to be rejected and some of these companies will have to look for a replacement activity to replace it.

Despite all its shortcomings, the prevailing economic system is still regulated capitalism and corporations use tax money to finance state activities. Especially when it comes to the environment, their actions will certainly have to be partly controlled by politicians.
