Surely the fashion world should adapt to the recycling of fabrics and clothing already made and no longer produce the same quantities that are produced today, so fashion would be much more oriented to secondhand and textile recycling. Private mobility should be reduced only where it is indispensable, so the public transport network should be completely expanded this time, leaving room for new means of commuting. I fear that by 2040 the climate has changed a lot, I imagine that there will be many problems related to water supply, so I imagine that there will be water rationing not so much for citizens as for companies and industries. The world of agriculture will therefore also be affected by the new, obviously warmer climate, and therefore cultures will be rethought and modified according to the new temperatures. Even at the political level I imagine that we are going to create an Orwellian situation in which states will form new alliances and coalitions and go towards a clearer block division, even the exchange of goods between the various blocks will be much more complex.
