The morning began with the sound of a melody that did not come from the alarm, but from a stolen assistant in the mirror. The mirror greeted me and showed me the weather forecast, the plan of the day and my stress level, with a short meditation.

While I was putting on my smart clothing, it was adjusting to the temperature and the weather. The kitchen was a side dish - the robot-chef prepared a savoury smoothie to meet my nutritional needs, which he analysed over the course of a week.

At the end, I flew in a flying capsule that flew over the hill. Traffic jams were a matter of routine, but I used the time spent travelling to read the article on virtual reality. I went to a building with an ecosystem that recycles its waste and uses solar energy.

I connected to a collective network at the business. We didn't use keyboards or screens anymore - all information is transmitted to the mind via neural connections. In the pause, I walked through a digital park where holograms of billions and birds were creating a nature scene.

In the evening, returning to the house, I saw a "celestial display" on the ceiling - an artificially twisted sky which helps with abandonment. While I was drifting off to sleep, the smart switch in the room extended my disconnection and adjusted the temperature for a short break.

The future was wonderful, or sometimes I dreamed of single-state weather.

Glem ikke at se tilbage når du ser frem
In my childhood in the 70's and 80's, the view of the world was very marked by the consequences of World War II. There was East and communism on the one hand and democracy and freedom on the other. NASA's lunar program was still in fresh memory and the development of computers happened at a rapid pace. Then the wall fell to the east all saw a common future towards the turn of the millennium and beyond. But something happened to the seeming and understanding of democracy. Russia fell back to the soviet era and in the United States became a convicted criminal president and will force the world to play by his rules. Fortunately, free Europe and the rest of North and South America were united so that his ideas had the most damaging effects in his own country. It's been years and the world has changed for the better. Everyone can still remember the economic consequences for virtually the entire world, with the United States probably no one right now forgets the "second great depression". The world is once again working together to solve our common challenges. And yet it worries if the story is remembered: If we do not permanently defend and fight for not only our own freedom but also the freedom of others, democracy will quickly come under pressure. And I'm still waiting for a flying car and space tourism. However, the new computers are impressive even though there are very few people who can really understand how they work. They're almost human.

The healthcare that changed the world
As we step into the year 2040, the landscape of healthcare has been dramatically transformed by the advent of microbots. These microscopic machines, designed to navigate the human body with precision, have revolutionized medical treatment, making it more effective and less invasive than ever before. Among their most groundbreaking applications is the delivery of medication directly to affected areas, eliminating many of the inefficiencies and side effects of traditional treatments. Microbots have significantly improved the treatment of chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. Unlike conventional methods that often expose the entire body to potent drugs, microbots deliver medication precisely where it is needed. This targeted approach enhances drug effectiveness while minimizing harmful side effects, leading to faster recovery times and improved patient outcomes. Furthermore, microbots have transformed emergency medicine. Patients suffering from strokes or heart attacks now receive immediate, life-saving interventions through microbots that dissolve blood clots or repair tissue damage within minutes. These tiny machines, controlled by advanced AI systems, ensure real-time monitoring and rapid response, reducing mortality rates significantly. In addition to treatment, microbots play a crucial role in preventive care. They continuously scan the body for early signs of diseases, allowing for timely diagnosis and intervention before symptoms even appear. This proactive approach has drastically reduced the prevalence of late-stage illnesses, enhancing overall public health and longevity. As we embrace this technological marvel, ethical considerations and regulatory measures remain essential to ensure safe and equitable access. Nonetheless, microbots have ushered in an era where healthcare is more precise, efficient, and life-saving than ever before.
