I envisage 2040 as a world where the climate crisis is under control and renewable energy sources dominate the global energy mix.

I would be committed to clean energy and sustainable development. I would like to see that by 2040, the world will be a world of green technologies, where solar, wind, hydro and advanced batteries are the standard, and fossil fuels are a thing of the past. Buildings would be poles of green spaces, buildings with vertical gardens and self-sustaining units. In the future, people would live in harmony with their environment, recycling and reuse of materials would be the norm, and climate catastrophes would be reduced to a minimum. Global construction and the development of new technologies would bring stability and a fair share of resources, reducing poverty and increasing the quality of life for all.

This is the world I aspire to - sustainable, technologically advanced, or, above all, humane and in balance with nature.
