I wish for peace on earth. Wars are terrible and cost human lives, everything is destroyed and people have to flee. People must all be able to live in peace, the money spent on wars can be better spent elsewhere. A third world war would be glorifying, millions of people would have to flee or will die. I myself have never experienced war in my country, but my parents and grandparents have told me about war. I want to hope that there will be peace on earth in 2040, but there should also be peace by 2040.
My wish for 2040 is to have a carefree life and to be able to live well in my country.

Probably it will be very different - it is very likely that we will use way more electricity (for instance electric cars), but hopefully most of it will be produced by solar/wind energy without huge impact to CO2 emissions. And with less CO2 emissions I hope climate change will be less of an issue to the world.

I wish that humanity was truly considered equal by all and that racism, homophobia would disappear and that there would be greater respect for women and that bullying in all its forms would disappear so that people could live without fear of others and be recognized as different.
