2040. gada 10. maijā varēšu svinēt 90 gadu jubileju, ja tik ilgi nodzīvošu. Ņemot vērā jau ievērojamo dzīves pieredzi un to, ka dzīvojam blakus ekspnasīvajai Krievijai , par šo gadu ir divas versijas - optimistiskā un pesimistiskā. Optimiskās gadījumā Krievijā būs mainījusies vara, un tās ārpolitika vairs nebūs imperiālistiska un agresīva. Varēsim mazliet uzelpot un mazāk līdzkeļu veltīt aizsardžibas stiprināšanai un beidzot noasfaltēt visus lauku ceļus. Pesimistiskajā gadījumā joprojām pastāvēs draudi no Krievijas un joprojām ļoti daudz līdzekļu vajadzēs tērēt militārām, nevis civilām vajadzībām. Ņemot vērā krievu tautas [ipatnības, cerēt uz viņu imperiālistiskajām tieksmēm ir maz pamata, tāpēc mans viedoklis drīzāk ir par pesimistisko variantu. Protams, relatīvā labklājība, kādā dzīvoijam 2025. gadā, nekur nepazudīs un rindās pēc pārtikas kā padomju gados stāvēt nevajadzēs. Cerams, ka arī sabiedrības debilizācija un tumsonība būs gājusi mazumā.

I have grown older. Together with my partner, I fulfilled my dream of building another house - after all, there was still room in the garden of the old house! It's not any smaller than the old house, but the layout is better. We have moved into the upper apartment - the office in the basement is no longer needed since we retired from work. It now serves as an apartment when children and grandchildren come to visit. Our neighborhood is constantly changing. Separations and deaths bring change. The houses don't stay empty for long. It is very popular to live in the village. People still look out for each other here and living together works. There are lots of activities for young and old, and most people are keen to get involved in voluntary work. All in all, it's a good place to grow older.
