The future in 2040 I imagine we will have a lot of evolution and we will have cars flying over us people will work less and less we will have robots that produce all we will have more and more people who die and life will become very expensive we will have buildings with hundreds of floors we will not have much room for animals and we will kill them as soon as possible.

Hopelijk een klein stukje van mijn toekomst
In 2040 the housing crisis is solved and me and my boyfriend have a nice house in the Gooi. Because people's mental well-being + (technological developments) are now paramount instead of "work life" I now work 3/4 days a week from 10:00 to 15:00. The rest of the time I have left for household chores and free time. I also eat and exercise more and healthier because it is more affordable and I have more time for this.
Oh yes and the cabinet has gone normie and at least cancelled (the interest of) student debts and brought them back to 0%.

A better and more united world
Countries will have finally worked together to have a more united Europe that shows as one front where countries still have their cultural traits and values, but Europe shows as one front on the political, defence, and economical standpoint.
Many policies would have been implemented for an improved lifestyle, especially around ecology/environment for a more sustainable planet, but also around alimentation where fairer wages are paid to local producers and farmers, and consumers have access to better, more sustainable products that are good for their health and the environment, with less chemicals, political corrupted shenanigans around what is available and less third parties taking commissions.
Because of its political and economical strength, Europe will be able to help better in the long-term less developed countries in providing a fairer and long-term access to basic necessities, education and health.
