It's 2040 and nothing is the same anymore. I no longer see a person in the street, whether it's children playing or people walking, our reality has become robotic due to the evolution of technology. Cars drive themselves, robot butlers do the shopping for the house, children take classes online and adults work on computers. Gone are the days when you used to go out to meet a friend... now you only see them by video call.

Hey! 2040 is here... I had no idea time would pass so quickly. Kids are grown up now, life has different shapes and stages, everything is digitalized. It's gone quiet in our lives and everything seems easier now. The children have their own lives; we're seeing our own age. We go on vacations more now, it's easier than 20 years ago because the cars go both on the ground and in the air. They are much better equipped and safer and accidents are fewer and fewer.

Now in 2040, non-renewable energy is not used. All energy used is renewable and is effectively managed. Recycling is part of everyone's day-to-day life, as is caring for nature. Contrary to what was previously seen, there is no garbage on the beaches, in the sea and in the woods.

I want to have a peaceful and bright future. I imagine social rules and relationships that do not support wars and terrorism. I expect less poor people and better living conditions for people in Africa and South America. No traffic jams. No deceases. No child abuse!
