Hello. I would like in 2040. I would like to see a peaceful Europe with friendly citizens. One with wise politicians who think not only for themselves but for the people. I want our children to have a bright future with good education and wages according to their skills and work. I wish there are fewer accidents on the roads , better infrastructure etc.

In my future, even if it's a few years away, I predict that there really won't be any more combustion cars. I think the meadows will be greener and the animals will be able to return to a more natural diet. People will go back to the old ways, everyone sowing what they need for their homes and those who can, raising their own animals. We'll also return (we've already started) to the era of everything being repaired, nothing being thrown away. Whether it's household appliances or clothes, making new out of old. I don't think that future is that far away. We'll have less money for shopping, hence the need to make new out of old. We'll still have the new technologies (IT) to support us in certain sectors.

I would like to see a world without wars, exchanging raw materials as a community, without robberies and with the same corruption. Where children learn in community, with activities in schools from little ones such as cooking (they can help in the kitchen a month to each class, or to each half class), the theater where it teaches them to let go and throw out their emotions. Or where parents do not have to work so many hours and can follow more the growth of their children and stay longer to dedicate themselves to them, to have more time to enjoy is to play, to talk that nowadays is so lacking. A world where the material is not so important, we don't need to have expensive, branded clothes... or mobile phones, we need to have more words, but be careful with the next, more love. Where travel is not so expensive and we can leave, meet and share other experiences. Where to volunteer is not so expensive and we can help more the other continents that so much need more love, to know other realities.

In 2040, I would imagine a future where sustainability is a natural part of everyday life. My dream is a world in which we have switched to clean energy, effectively recycling and minimising waste. I imagine cities full of greenery, smart, self-generating buildings, and transport systems powered by renewable resources. Technology should be our ally – artificial intelligence and robotics would make our work easier and give us more time for family, education and creativity. Healthcare would be accessible and personalised, with advanced genetics and biotechnology, we would be able to prevent most diseases. But the most important thing is to move as a society towards greater empathy and cooperation. The world in 2040 should not only be technologically advanced, but also more humane, where people value nature, education and mutual respect more.
