The wish is that Europe would stop choking itself to slow and miserable death, what is caused by constantly imposing new restrictive regulations, which very often do not create any practical value (except for creating new jobs for civil servants, as the administration burden deriving from the regulations cannot be managed any more otherwise) and do not take life forward. This kind of recession should stop. At the time where communication and travel methods have partially removed the barriers and borders to do business or live almost anywhere in the world, then Europe as a region should not consider itself as a closed and invulnerable island. Basically there is competition all over the world and it is just one world that everyone lives in, so the conditions for progress should not be tens or hundreds of times worse in Europe, when compared with other regions in the world. I wish that one day we would again see more or less competitive innovation in Europe as well and that the region would be attractive from the economic perspective, but also in terms of security (no tolerance for wars and no more terrorist attacks).
