Face aux Etats unis d'Amérique dominants, à la Chine conquérante et même à la Russie déclinante, l'Europe a enfin compris il y a 15 ans que si elle était un géant économique, elle était bien faible politiquement. Les peuples de l' Europe ont montré leur volonté d'avoir un destin commun, non seulement au niveau économique mais aussi au niveau quotidien.
Des logiciels de traduction instantanée ont favorisé la communication des individus, des moyens de transport rapides et performants ont intensifié les déplacements à travers le continent, la diffusion de la culture de tous les pays de l'Europe ont encouragé encore les déplacements et la volonté de mieux se connaître. Il est devenu facile d'aller travailler ou d'habiter dans un autre pays.
C'est pourquoi aujourd'hui les européens ont réussi à imposer une Europe unique et uni avec un Etat fédéral fort qui conduit la politique du continent, tout en laissant un espace de liberté à chaque Etat fédéré.
