In a better future, the Earth would be much better off. Air, ship or car traffic would no longer be polluting, but vehicles would run on water, wind or solar energy, for example. Recycling would have evolved enormously, and everything could be recycled. Recycling would be made mandatory by law, and failure to comply with the law would result in a substantial penalty. Eating meat in its present form would have been left behind and replaced by artificial meat produced in laboratory conditions. In addition, ecological vegetarian food would have strengthened its position. Fast fashion would have been almost completely eradicated, and the production of clothes should be done in an ethical and environmentally sustainable manner.
Human rights and equality would have taken a great leap forward. There would be no racism, people would accept each other and treat each other kindly and fairly. Animal rights would also be better protected and animals would no longer be used to satisfy people's food needs.
There would no longer be war on Earth, but there would have been progressive ways to preserve peace. Education is free and truly accessible to all.
