In 2040 I'll be 67.... I hope to live out my days in peace and quiet, having found peace and learned from my mistakes. I imagine myself surrounded by my daughter and the family she will have built. I'd like to see a world without hatred, empathetic, where human beings take their place and accept that difference is a source of richness.

In my future everyone would be treated equally no matter where they come from the evil in the world would be history the rich would no longer be rich everyone would be cared for equally so that they are well off I would invest time in things that would make life better in the long run

I would only wish for one thing: that the green nonsense disappears from the planet so that prosperity and growth are once again possible for all people on this planet. After the growth of the last few decades, humanity will grow, which will automatically steer nature back onto a path that ensures the survival of humanity, no longer with 8, 9 or 11 billion, but ultimately with a sensible 4 to 6 billion on the planet. Until then, the best possible thing has to be done and that is not what ygreens imagine with veggieday and genderwoke work-life balance under wind turbines and solar plants! Have a nice life!

Vladimir Putin died in 2025, ending years of dictatorship, censorship, and overblown ideas of Russian power. After a fair and transparent election, a progressive politician comes to power, and the old regime falls away with the reactionaries. In the 15 years following, Russia has become an economic powerhouse and has international cooperation as its focus. With a stable government, it is not a military threat to Europe, China, or indeed, any other country. This has inspired other regions in Asia and the Middle East to scale back aggressive behaviours, especially regarding disputed territories. Israel has relocated its citizens to new builds, and negotiations are being held to establish an independent Palestinian state. Hamas has become a political organisation and has renounced its militant ways. Israel has also started making amends to the Palestinian people, but this is a long and ongoing process. The US has become the old guard. It is still a place of dreams and technology, but after the economic crash of 2026, the American people are tired of the pursuit of more and more. The slow life is now the lifestyle trend.
