Moving into the future by healing the past

This image was generated with Dream Studio AI.

I am sitting with a group of around 30 people. We are working together to look at how we move forward together as a community by acknowledging and grieving for what has separated and divided us in the past. We acknowledge that we have ancestors from many origins. We feel our losses and their losses: of loved ones, of lands that were left behind. Tragedies, wars, conflicts, untimely deaths. Things that were broken and could not be fixed. We see how sometimes we had to shut ourselves down and cut ourselves off in order to survive. As we feel our individual, family and collective grief - for what we experienced and for our ancestors experienced - we release our tears into the earth and we look at each other again with fresh eyes and with open hearts. We feel the power of our collective remembering and our collective healing. We sense into our deeper connection and our longing for a different future where we live in harmony with each other and with the land and all the other beings. We leave with a sense of healing and hope for the future.

Global warming has stopped, temperatures are falling again, hurray! Cars run on hydrogen and solid-state batteries, one charge lasts 2000 km. Plastic has been largely banned. The internet giants have been put in their place and must act in the same way as public broadcasters. The global population has been shrinking for 15 years. Most plastic has been fished out of the sea.

Budućnost održive energije
I want fossil fuels to be a thing of the past, and renewable sources from sun, wind and hydro to cover everything. From households to industry. Solar panels on the roofs of every building give us energy independence. Then the air would be clean, the oceans would be protected and climate change would be stopped. Electric cars and public transport are used. People are becoming more aware of the importance of respecting nature and we are living much healthier lives.

even if it is utopian to write anything about a future that is impossible for me to achieve ( given my age), a dream for my children and mine I might have, to halve the extravagance and selfishness, the thirst for money and power, to live without tax and financial oppression , politicians by the people, in an honest and true way, to try to leave a still livable and enjoyable earth to our grandchildren, to wake up from this deep sleep caused by these vile overlords of a world that is NOT theirs.

Ma ville
I had a dream, the dream of cities that look like villages, islets of trees, plants that separate neighborhoods, more hlm, residences, houses with gardens, collective gardens, plantations of fruit trees and of course, people know each other, help each other, exchange barter, furniture, clothes, food ... there are children playing on the street, they are safe, neighbors monitor them, there is an important associative life and investment, we feel responsible for our "neighborhood-village"
