I hope for a future where all kinds of people can be embraced. Growing up Black in a majority white community, I had to justify my existence from a very young age. A harmless question like "Where are you from?" confused me. I would answer by confidently naming this country I had visited for three weeks when I was three years old. And that was before I felt the stereotypes affect me. I was shy, quiet intelligent young boy. Nothing about this was unusually to me until my adolescence. Apparently I was supposed to be a loud obnoxious troublemaker. And the most confounding of all, was those who saw people like me as dumb. I've gone off on a bit off a tangent, however there is no way to predict the future without discussing the past. I hope the kids of 2040 are embraced for their differences. I hope they can live their lives exactly as they want. I hope society rethinks its desire for us to only be one thing. To only present in one way.

Robots will work for us and So we can spend more time with our families. We'll spend our days happily and not so stressed out. The government will make decisions so that everyone, from the poor to the rich, will be able to enjoy life, because there will be free or very inexpensive activities, and life will be less expensive.

The climate crisis is not over. We have energies that are climate-friendly. Fuel cells without radioactivity. The climate has also been greatly improved by the fact that population growth has stagnated. Infant mortality is less, but fewer children are born because of education. Not as many people to make an impact. Democracy is fortunately alive again, and we have no definite "autocrats". Our religions have become much more inclusive. Ai as we had feared works ok, it has taken over many of our trivial functions.

In 2040, I would like my children and my grandchildren to live in a safer world, so that there would be no wars, so that they would have healthy food, not so much modified, so that the world would not be so busy that a man would see a man in another man, a brother, a friend. People need to be more supportive and aware. People should talk to each other, not robots. People should take care of forests to prevent them from being cut down, our lungs on this land, so that they are not lacking from the Baltic to the Tatras.
