Usamos cada vez menos plástico no nosso dia a dia. Há taxas exorbitantes para as empresas que usam e produzem plástico e os consumidores também são cobrados taxas adicionais por optarem por esse tipo de material. Há um maior cuidado a nível de consumismo. Os brinquedos para as crianças são cada vez mais em madeira. Vendem-se sacos de pano e comida a granel, deixou de se ver plástico. Usa-se cartão, caixas, frascos de vidro e sacos de pano no dia a dia. As pessoas fazem também limpezas regulares as suas casas e retiram todos os elementos possíveis que contenham plástico. Fast fashion deixou de estar na moda. Esse tipo de loja hoje em dia tem os preços mais elevados e as pessoas começam a valorizar mais o algodão e o linho, tanto para roupa como para têxteis das suas casas. Há quem diga que o ar, inclusive o que respiramos dentro de casa melhorou, pois até os móveis já são feitos de madeira a 100% ou perto e cada vez temos menos plástico nas suas produções. O futuro é risonho.
