In 2040, the countries of Europe are separated by borders only on the map. In reality, movement is free between these countries. There is no corruption and politics is done by intelligent, far-sighted people and most importantly, politics is oriented to the people and for the people. No one is afraid to walk in the streets and there is maximum trust in the authorities, who are known for putting freedom, justice and truth first. Incomes are commensurate with prices and everyone is helped by the government to achieve at least a decent standard of living. There is a central body made up of representatives from all countries who work vigorously against corruption of any kind, be it among governments or state institutions or companies. Companies are vigorously scrutinized against corruption and to ensure ethics and fairness towards the public and in their business dealings. Everyone benefits from basic health care and the medical system has the resources to deliver it. Governments prioritize education, health and the welfare of citizens when allocating resources. Governments and political figures are not interested in political correctness and truth, equality and justice for all. Although borders are open to non-European citizens, illegal immigrants are severely punished and deported.
