In 2040, people have returned to their values and live more in community and togetherness than individualism. This starts in the closest circles, in families, and extends to social groups and institutions such as kindergartens and schools, universities and communities of interest throughout the population and does not stop at national borders. This issue is also being taken up in politics and international understanding and peace talks with a view to a future in which the next generation can still live well will be established. Natural resources will be used responsibly. New ideas will emerge on how to take appropriate account of nature. And how to use them well for humanity without exploiting them. There will be a shared vision for the future based on values and human rights.

I would like to see more attention paid to the issue of climate change. Global warming should be stopped and the country should only be supplied with renewable energy. I also have enough money and a secure livelihood. I can afford a good life and don't have to worry. There is peace all over the world and prices are stable.

With A.I., life will be completely different: it will no longer be necessary to go to the shops to do your shopping, and deliveries will surely be almost instantaneous once you've made your choice on an application. As far as healthcare is concerned, a field that is currently close to my heart, it may be possible to have an operation at home via a screen, and to be cared for by a robot. To get around and go on vacation, flying cars will be able to carry out this mission. To communicate with other ethnic groups, a chip could be implanted and the desired language used instantly.

After the West had dominated the world for over 500 years, the tide turned abruptly in the 1920s. The once successful countries increasingly developed into care cases: incompetent politicians, declining growth, exploding national debt, increasing inequality, ageing populations, disintegrating social structures. Representative democracy has been hijacked by market players, the free market economy is now nothing more than a tool of capital, the rule of law is atrophying and civil society is being kept in a permanent state of crisis by constant media bombardment. The political decline is unmistakable. At the same time, Asia is developing into the new center of the world and the populations of the West look enviously at the achievements, but are incapable of adapting and developing further. Thank you Europe for nothing and goodbye!
