For me, there will be no more wars. People will have had enough of suffering, of working long and hard so that certain people who do nothing and squat in the country can benefit. People will have voted extreme right for several years, Europe will still be present, trade with the USA and China will still be tense, but we'll be able to get by as a united country.

In 2040, our and the world's society will be so wealthy that people will not be reduced to scams, theft, tunneling, or even wars. The country will belong to everyone equally, rich and poor alike. We will protect nature and not devastate it because we will finally realize what it can give us if we take good care of it and protect it. There will be no starvation as there will be enough food for everyone. It will be a world of abundance and contentment for all, both humans and animals. We won't be envious of each other because everyone will have the basics and it will be up to each of us how we arrange things. It will be a world where we can live happily, and for diseases for which there are no cures yet, immediate diagnosis and treatment will be possible.
Pollution would finally be falling, and a real awareness would have taken place everywhere (Europe and the rest of the world). No more active military conflicts in Europe and as few as possible in the rest of the world.
Politicians would at last be willing to act for the good of all, and not for their own personal gain.
Leaders would take a long-term view and not just look ahead to election dates...
The European Commission, that group of liberal satraps, has at last been replaced by democratically elected leaders, their cowardly behavior in the face of Russia having discredited them and led to a revolt by the nations that refuse to accept the expansion of the Ukraine they have maintained at arm's length, to the detriment of their agricultures, invaded by low-end products.
Nations that came only to benefit from subsidies have been ejected, and are content with a free-trade agreement. Great Britain joined the Union as an observer. The bankruptcy of the German system and its coal-based energy finally made it possible to dispense with its tutelage.
President Trump died, victim of Musk's coup.
China tried again to invade Viet-Nam and took another beating.
And I'm 89 years old.
