Retour sur la logique des choses

I wake up one morning in the new year, 2040.
Like any other morning, I'm getting ready for an ordinary day.
Today, it's safe to walk the streets. Delinquency shaves the walls, since repression is harsh but fair, a little like in the Middle Ages, but effective (caning, reopening of prisons). Controlled immigration and the deportation of delinquents have contributed to all this.
Men have realized that women can do as well as, if not better than, them. That said, parity and quotas are a thing of the past - we live in a world of meritocracy.
Women are breathing a sigh of relief, and rapists and sex offenders are being severely punished. They have also understood that if they want to please, they have to accept being looked at, admired and approached by other people of all genders. In fact, there are now only 2, masculine or feminine. Non-binary people, those who feel like a flowerpot every 4 mornings..., are followed up for shrink failure.
Society has become fairer, and freeloaders no longer exist. People who live on assistance without ever working are no longer entitled to it. All work deserves a salary, so no work = no income or benefits.
Social security is on the mend, since we've stopped treating all the world's misery.
Young people are better educated, thanks to ever more innovative new technologies, but above all thanks to a culture of effort and hard work.
But above all, we've stopped doing anything that didn't make sense. For example, to import foreign products, they have to meet the same production standards. This encourages "local consumption", reduces carbon impact, and reinvigorates agriculture. Repair shops are to be found just about everywhere: no more systematic replacement, today we repair, just like in my youth. Containers are being reused, thanks to the return of the glass bottle deposit scheme.
Tourism has taken a knock, which seems normal to me, but it came late. If you want to preserve places, you have to protect them from man.
Apart from that, and it's not bad, I'm happy to have a quality of life like this, better purchasing power, better health, security, justice, well thought-out decisions but above all logic.
So, although this future makes me dream, I'm not going to be impatient to get there because I'll be 15 years older :-/

Nov sistem za novo in boljše skupno življenje
Humans are animal beings, striving to survive. We want the best for ourselves, but we are bound by socio-demographics. We want to help each other but are constrained by the current political-economic system. In the future, I would like us to be able to transcend the system we are caught up in and to free ourselves from the animal instinct that makes us egocentric. I want and hope that we can realistically care for the well-being of the environment in which we live, that we can help each other, that we can use our knowledge and technology to improve our health and to benefit each other in every way.

Optimisme
A better future would be one in which we stop fighting or getting worked up over things that aren't important, and wars of "religion" no longer exist. We'd take care of the earth and stop polluting it. On a more personal note, my daughters would have finished their studies and have a job in which they're fulfilled, they'd have a family life that they want and that they don't feel "trapped" in. In short, they'd be happy to discover the world without fear of their fellow man or of a natural disaster, and they'd travel to discover a world unpolluted by mass tourism. I'd be close to retirement, so I hope I'd still be able to enjoy my family and the free time I'd have. And everyone would be in good health.

Svetla prihodnost polna optimizma
I want a diocratic europe without neo-Nazis, without people who want power not for money but to make a difference. I want to see as much connection to public transport as possible, as few cars as possible in city centres. I want the protests to be repeated, so that Slovenia can finally get rid of Janez Jansa. That we succeed in limiting global warming. That it is easier for young people to get their first jobs and to get housing.

Petelin ali človek
Continuing the trend of "all for nature conservation and animal welfare". The official line is to tackle climate change, which is the culprit for all changes, good and bad, that really have nothing to do with it. Local communities realise that cooperation is better than competition, but they don't know what that really means. What happens at global level is transferred to local level and the trends are expected to be the same - warming everywhere, weather extremes everywhere - which is not really the case. Instead of warming, it is colder, because there is the effect of 'cold water coming out of the radiator', which cools everything down.
