Retour sur la logique des choses

I wake up one morning in the new year, 2040.
Like any other morning, I'm getting ready for an ordinary day.
Today, it's safe to walk the streets. Delinquency shaves the walls, since repression is harsh but fair, a little like in the Middle Ages, but effective (caning, reopening of prisons). Controlled immigration and the deportation of delinquents have contributed to all this.
Men have realized that women can do as well as, if not better than, them. That said, parity and quotas are a thing of the past - we live in a world of meritocracy.
Women are breathing a sigh of relief, and rapists and sex offenders are being severely punished. They have also understood that if they want to please, they have to accept being looked at, admired and approached by other people of all genders. In fact, there are now only 2, masculine or feminine. Non-binary people, those who feel like a flowerpot every 4 mornings..., are followed up for shrink failure.
Society has become fairer, and freeloaders no longer exist. People who live on assistance without ever working are no longer entitled to it. All work deserves a salary, so no work = no income or benefits.
Social security is on the mend, since we've stopped treating all the world's misery.
Young people are better educated, thanks to ever more innovative new technologies, but above all thanks to a culture of effort and hard work.
But above all, we've stopped doing anything that didn't make sense. For example, to import foreign products, they have to meet the same production standards. This encourages "local consumption", reduces carbon impact, and reinvigorates agriculture. Repair shops are to be found just about everywhere: no more systematic replacement, today we repair, just like in my youth. Containers are being reused, thanks to the return of the glass bottle deposit scheme.
Tourism has taken a knock, which seems normal to me, but it came late. If you want to preserve places, you have to protect them from man.
Apart from that, and it's not bad, I'm happy to have a quality of life like this, better purchasing power, better health, security, justice, well thought-out decisions but above all logic.
So, although this future makes me dream, I'm not going to be impatient to get there because I'll be 15 years older :-/

In 2040, we live in peace and balance. We work, but only to pass the time. Everyone is happy, life is pleasant. There is no evil, people live in peace. No one wants to oppress anyone. Children can play in the streets in peace. They don't have to be afraid of getting hurt. The police do their job. So people can live in peace. It's important that it's not just the motorists who are being bullied. They could investigate and put their energy into catching criminals. Because right now they are not really "serving and protecting" (at least not the citizens).

i hope that I would like it
In 2040, I would love to see a future where sustainability is a top priority. Imagine a world where renewable energy sources like solar and wind power are the norm, where recycling and reducing waste are ingrained in everyday life, and where eco-friendly practices are widespread. I envision cities with green spaces, clean air, and efficient public transportation systems. People would be more conscious of their environmental impact, leading to a healthier planet for future generations. It would be amazing to see innovations in technology that promote sustainability and protect our environment.

The year is 2050. The world has changed beyond recognition - climate change has transformed agriculture and traditional methods of animal husbandry and fish farming have been replaced by high-tech, sustainable solutions. In a small but progressive town in Bulgaria, a young entrepreneur named Ivan runs his innovative beef farm. He was among the first to combine traditional meat preservation in jars with the latest eco-friendly practices. The animals are raised in a completely controlled environment where every drop of water is used as efficiently as possible, and their food comes from organic farms that operate on a closed-loop system. But the biggest change came when Ivan decided to integrate his production with a sturgeon farm. Thanks to new technologies, the water used for the fish is purified and used to irrigate the grass pastures that feed the livestock. This not only reduces costs but also eliminates harmful emissions. Its products - jars of high-quality beef seasoned with natural herbs - are becoming a hit across Europe. Thanks to blockchain systems, every customer can trace the origin of the meat and be sure it is produced sustainably. Once a month, Ivan organises virtual farm tours where people from all over the world can see what the future of the food industry looks like - waste-free, nature-conscious and high quality. And as the world changes, Ivan proves that tradition and innovation can go hand in hand.

La victoire de la democratie
Finally, in 2040, Europe was able to organize itself into a federation. The weight of the new European army enabled Ukraine to regain its independence. This failure was a setback for Putin, who finally lost his job, and for Orban and Fixo, who are tipping Europe into total democracy. America is gradually recovering from Trumpism.
