The year 2040 is not so distant in the future, in the meantime even this year the born child will not have reached the age of majority. And as you know, children grow up fast and years fly away like birds, see, already 2040. There is no more war in the world, people live in peace and do everything to improve their living conditions, do nothing to the detriment of the environment, are empathetic, helpful to each other, and most of the time life takes place without unnecessary worries. I go to a cafe, a local shop or somewhere else and I am addressed by a smiling and welcoming staff. There is no longer a trace of what it was at the beginning of 2000, when too often I saw acidic and stiff faces, and I always compared why people in England, Spain, Italy, etc. smile and are better. We are no longer shy to say to everyone that we are from Latvia, and there is no more division of people into Latvians and non-Latvians, because everyone speaks Latvian and develops local culture, because we are all citizens of Latvia with one goal to make their lives better!
