Oh yes, luckily everything turned out well again. Back then, my dear granddaughter, things looked bad in Germany and the world. The only really nice thing in 2025 was your birth. Oh, how happy we were. And we are still happy for you and your brother and your two cousins, who were born a little later. But you wanted to know what it was like back then. Back then, we had to vote at short notice in Germany, there were quarrels within the old government. And then the shock - because the elections didn't turn out as originally expected. There was a lot of trouble within the parties, one party was so divided that it disbanded. What a stroke of luck for humanity and especially for Germany. Yes, I know you shake your head at so much stupidity today, but people were actually dissatisfied and therefore backed the wrong horse. Back then, there was a war between Russia and Ukraine. Fortunately for all of us, a ceasefire was initially achieved with the help of Europe. The President of the United States at the time, who had no idea about politics, almost triggered the Third World War. But then Europe came together and formed a strong unit, which didn't impress the president very much. You shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but in this case it was the best thing that could have happened to the world, because this man suffered a heart attack and died before he could do any worse. At last something changed for the better in the world and in Germany, too, tax money was no longer wasted. I could tell you stories about the nonsensical things cities and municipalities did with tax money. But you wouldn't believe that. It's also too far-fetched. But now, look how nice the cities look, lots of greenery and little car traffic in the city centers. Isn't it also nice that everyone can borrow a very small e-car instead of an e-scooter to get around town? And it can even be folded up, like mini folding bikes used to be. But you don't even know them anymore. This tiny e-car doesn't go fast, so you can drive it without a license. The car industry, which was almost at the end of its tether back then, has changed tack. And look at these wheelchairs that follow patients around. That's a delight. Now even sick and old people can walk a few steps and then sit down again. And in your school everything is digital, no more 1000 copies, although you had books, but I still think it's great that the books have remained in paper form. It's also wonderful that the daily newspapers still exist. It's incredibly nice that you were taught at school how important it is to get information in a serious way. And it's great that social media is only available from the age of 18. And people now take a closer look and don't spread as much crap as they did 15 years ago. But the best thing of all is that wars and unrest in the world are a thing of the past. Instead of rattling sabres, people talk to each other, instead of just having their cell phones in front of their eyes (and that was actually the case. Some people couldn't be without their cell phones for an hour), people talk and discuss and play.

Zurück auf Start
Europe of the future should be a continent free of people. Primeval forests and wild animals will cover the continent as they did in the past. Hopefully at some point all the remains of inglorious humanity will have rotted away. Then the planet will find peace again, provided that humanity quickly eliminates itself, Covid19 didn't work, it's also tough with the war, but it will work out eventually. Important prerequisites such as self-centeredness, stupidity and arrogance have already been met.

la vie à 90 ans
in 2040, I'll be 90....what to imagine ???? It's not easy. At that age, you don't need many things any more, but I'd still like to be able to do my own housework without any outside help, take my dog for a walk in the morning and then put my nose to the computer to do my surveys to improve my small pension. In 2040, maybe there'll be self-driving cars, so I'll be able to keep my autonomy on that side too.... go out and celebrate with the family and be able to return home quietly without fear of being checked. Health worries would be a thing of the past, and there would be plenty of preventive means to prevent any illness. Cancer would be vanquishedCOPY00and many other diseases .... There would be no more rich or poor, and even fewer homeless. Pets would be protected by compulsory microchips, so that anyone who 'loses' their pet could be traced.

Il futuro che spero e vorrei
I would like to find myself in a peaceful future where technology has increased but where a fixed income for people has been created since many jobs are gone. A secure future of equality. In which transportation is fast and efficient and in which we no longer need to learn languages but use automatic voice translators. I hope for a future in which man really has time to live and does not have to work 12 hours a day to survive. A future where we no longer have to be afraid of diseases such as cancer and where the average life span is much higher than it is now. I also hope that we no longer have to worry about climate change and that we have been able to solve the problem by learning to live with the planet. At the same time I believe that we will continue to search for other planets with conditions compatible with life, and I hope that even just 20 years from now interplanetary travel will no longer be just the subject of science fiction movies. In all of this, however, I unfortunately believe that the weakest, poorest and most fragile populations will be crushed as the Earth's population cannot continue to grow by leaps and bounds, and situations such as Covid will increase and be the order of the day. Economic disparities globally will increase.

I would like to see world peace in 2040. To fix the climate problem and bring climate control. Even though 2040 is still 15 years away, I think it will be a bright year in which the world will be friendly and help each other. 2040 is the year when humanity will finally realise that only by working together can we make real progress. Countries will not compete for resources, because sustainable energy solutions and advanced technologies will allow everyone to live in harmony. Climate control will not only stop extreme weather events, it will also revitalise nature - deserts will be green again and endangered species will return to their natural habitats. People will focus more on science, art and spiritual development than on wars and conflicts. Cities will be greener, cities greener and communities more united than ever.
