Europe of the future - 2050
I wake up in the morning, and the sun's rays penetrate through the window await me. There is silence outside, interrupted only by bird songs. I turned on my smart mirror, and it shows news about the latest developments in the world - all related to sustainable development and the integration of technology into people's daily lives.
After breakfast, I go to work. The city is no longer congested, as most people move with autonomous electric vehicles. There are no exhaust gases in the air, and the city parks are full of greenery and flowers.
My work is related to artificial intelligence. I am part of a team that develops new medical solutions. We are working to enable faster and more accurate diagnosis of diseases with the help of AI, as well as to develop personalized treatment plans for each patient.
After work, I meet with friends. We go to one of the city's many restaurants, where food is prepared from local and seasonal products. After dinner, we go to a concert with musicians from all over Europe.
The day has been filled with events, but I feel happy and pleased. I live in a Europe focused on sustainable development, technology and human well-being. I hope that in the future Europe will become an even better place to live.
The Story of Change
Between 2025 and 2050, Europe has undergone profound changes. The shared vision and work of citizens, politicians and experts has led to significant progress in many areas:
* Sustainable development: Europe has become a leader in sustainable development. Pollution has been reduced, renewable energy sources have become key and effective solutions for waste recycling have been put in place.
* Technology: Technology is integrated into people's daily lives, making life more comfortable and efficient. Artificial intelligence is used in medicine, education and other fields.
* Social well-being: The well-being of citizens has improved. Poverty and inequality have decreased and everyone has access to quality education and healthcare.
I hope that this story will inspire people to act now to build a better future for Europe.

After graduation I decided to stay here at my home, I remember very well when my parents were forced to choose between a better quality of life, and the most dear affections such as family and roots. Today fortunately it is no longer so, I can safely decide to carry out my profession in any European state and receive the same salary, but above all to be sure that the quality of my life will be the same everywhere. My technical knowledge is equally recognized, and the chances of making a career (while still wanting to start a family) are the same, I just have to decide if I want to stay here or start a new adventure. When I talk about it with mine, I see their eyes become shiny, because they know that anyway I will be happy and I will not have remorse not having to accept compromises. Today I witness many acquaintances who (even if in the last years of work) return to where they were born, will retire and will be serene. It's great to be able to decide: If you're a traveler and you don't have to become one.

Srečna in svobodna Evropa v prihodnost

In 2040, Europe was developed sustainably, using only environmentally friendly energy sources for electricity production, which are, of course, renewable. Most houses are equipped with a smart management system that optimises the use of energy as much as possible. The air is clean, we have stopped global warming, man is brother to man racism and we have eradicated discrimination

Zukunt für alle

I wish that by then we had managed to save , our planet. Clean, efficient energy is available indefinitely, but there are better alternatives than huge wind turbines that eat the ground. Housing is affordable for everyone and a fundamental right. Everyone has to do their part. There are no more social smears. Public transport, of any kind, is free of charge.

Il è un puzzle e ognuno di noi siamo un pezzo

A future where we have changed our habits to find a sustainability of resources, managing to find a fairer balance for all, reducing the differences between peoples and social classes. Social, environmental and economic justice, progress without compromise of the planet and without exploitation. Equality of rights, acceptance, sense of community and participation at all levels of society. Elimination of corruption, control over big fortunes and companies. Strengthening education, culture, sustainable transport. Enhancement of the territory, recovery and reuse of existing structures and materials. Universal and accessible health care for all, where the center is the person and not the economic gain. Elimination of the prevailing capitalist systems.
