I would like to see world peace in 2040. To fix the climate problem and bring climate control. Even though 2040 is still 15 years away, I think it will be a bright year in which the world will be friendly and help each other.
2040 is the year when humanity will finally realise that only by working together can we make real progress. Countries will not compete for resources, because sustainable energy solutions and advanced technologies will allow everyone to live in harmony. Climate control will not only stop extreme weather events, it will also revitalise nature - deserts will be green again and endangered species will return to their natural habitats.
