The Bioelectromagnetic Age

In 2040, many of the most innovative breakthroughs being developed to contribute to sustainability, productivity and quality of life involve the synergistic combination of knowledge related to biology, science and technology. One of the biggest breakthroughs that has been achieved is Bioelectromagnetic Design – the customised design of the electromagnetic characteristics of environments and technologies to enhance wellbeing and biological functioning.

Interest in Bioelectromagnetic Design had initially arisen in popularity, and necessity, as a result of many in the insurance industry refusing to cover health issues related to electromagnetic pollution, the growing incidences of Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity in many of the world’s populations, and a number of enlightened health agencies advocating the adoption of stronger protective guidelines.

It received a further boost when entrepreneurs recognised that if they took into account the suggestions of ‘early warning’ scientists when designing technologies and products, the risks they faced were reduced and their opportunities for disruptive innovation increased. The growing interest and efficacy of electromedicine further increased the appeal of such tactics, and by 2035 such approaches had become mainstream with the creation of more bioelectromagnetically healthy environments and technologies becoming the choice of the masses.

The knowledge that we can work in closer harmony with nature through having a better understanding of the biological effects of the electromagnetic spectrum, and can use that to our advantage and the advantage of the planet itself in its extended recovery period, is been a real blessing.

December 25, 2040 Meanwhile it is Christmas and I am very old. It's not so bad: I could leave whenever I want, but with the help of medicine and science I live quite well. My grandchildren are adults and have graduated or almost graduated. Society doesn't look much like it did in the 1920s. The economic level has dropped ( but is acceptable) in what is the European Union and the USA. On the other hand, countries that were once emerging have grown. This has brought great changes in all areas, even the most mundane ones such as our eating habits. Home gardens, recycling, and the reuse of everyday objects have grown. Manual labor in one's garden or vegetable garden is quite important for one's well-being, partly because at home most household chores are automated. Work trips are also minimized.

Szczęśliwe życie
In my opinion, life in 2040 will be easier and more comfortable. Thanks to artificial intelligence, you will be able to plan your future so that it is as interesting and satisfying as possible for a human being. For example, everyone will be able to find out what work in accordance with interests and passions (so one that will be not an unpleasant duty but a pleasure) will give the best in the future and provide the most dignified existence. Of course, thanks to artificial intelligence, everyone will be able to do their work remotely, not leave home when it is not necessary. In addition, the average person will be able to afford several vacations during the year in places that only dream of. In addition, he will, of course, have much more free time than the current 26-day holiday. Thanks to climate change for the better, the air will be much cleaner, people healthier, and thus the average life expectancy of a person will also increase. It is also associated with the lack of the need to go to doctors often. Everyone will have the opportunity to diagnose themselves online and quickly detect changes in the body, and thus prevention instead of expensive treatment. I think that artificial intelligence will be so helpful that it will change people's lives for longer, happier and more satisfying.

To Be Embraced
I hope for a future where all kinds of people can be embraced. Growing up Black in a majority white community, I had to justify my existence from a very young age. A harmless question like "Where are you from?" confused me. I would answer by confidently naming this country I had visited for three weeks when I was three years old. And that was before I felt the stereotypes affect me. I was shy, quiet intelligent young boy. Nothing about this was unusually to me until my adolescence. Apparently I was supposed to be a loud obnoxious troublemaker. And the most confounding of all, was those who saw people like me as dumb. I've gone off on a bit off a tangent, however there is no way to predict the future without discussing the past. I hope the kids of 2040 are embraced for their differences. I hope they can live their lives exactly as they want. I hope society rethinks its desire for us to only be one thing. To only present in one way.

Robots will work for us and So we can spend more time with our families. We'll spend our days happily and not so stressed out. The government will make decisions so that everyone, from the poor to the rich, will be able to enjoy life, because there will be free or very inexpensive activities, and life will be less expensive.
