In 2040, I would like to see some of the problems that have arisen as a result of humanity’s actions over the past 200 years be solved. This problem is mainly global warming and the destruction of the planet. In addition, I would like to see more people who feel connected to others in the future – only through cooperation and integration can we make further progress. The best example of this is technological progress, which is largely the result of cooperation and accumulation and knowledge transfer over thousands of years. I think that working together is secret to tackle the problem of global warming, since we will have to get closer together in the future if we want to solve this problem. The policy will have to be integrated, as it is already doing with international climate conferences, but more needs to be done to solve the problem. Systematic solutions in the form of laws and sanctions will be needed to guide society as a whole towards more environmentally friendly action. Society will have to behave somewhat less individually and more collectively, and I want a democratic system in the future that allows everyone to participate, express their opinions freely and see each individual as something specific and enable them to grow personally, which is later seen for the benefit of society. I can conclude that some of the guidelines for such action are already in place (environmental laws and sanctions), but that their execution and implementation are currently not at a level that solves the problem. In addition, solving environmental problems requires technological developments that would increase the possibilities for substitution of resources (which would make them more affordable) that contribute to the problem, and this progress can be achieved through scientific integration worldwide, which has proven to be effective in many places (including in the production of COVID-19 vaccines).
