We are in 2040. Time goes by so quickly. I have had Multiple Sclerosis since 2021. This year I'm turning 47 years old and the image of a patient with MS in a wheelchair is related to the past. Luckily, it's not our present or future anymore. I still receive my medication every six weeks but I am grateful because I am healthy and the illness doesn't command life. It's just another part of it. Thanks of all the investment of the last years - Next Generation grants helped - the course of many illness has changed, like the quality of life of its patients. In addition, a new vaccine for the Epstein Barr Virus has been released. It’s one of the causes of MS, so this vaccine is supposed to reduce the incidence of MS in the world. The future ahead is even more encouraging.
