I see a lot of opportunities for the future. When we think upside down, we can solve more issues than we think. When we work with new and bright ideas and innovations and address issues differently a lot of things can happen.
Ecoducts for humans instead of animals. Airplanes that suck electricity from the sky. People are not allowed to kill animals, only the weak once, like how it works in nature. Abandon plastic, and work with alternatives. Reward people instead of punishing them. Send love, also to insects.

No future
Available housing with low mortgage rates, great public transport networks with mandatory cycling infrastructure, less spending on car centric infrastructure, leading to more healthy population and cleaner cities. Energy sourced from renewable resources. Social equality and stability, shorter work week. Support for unemployed as AI takes away a lot of jobs. Open trade and borders between EU counties, lot of tourism and work opportunities.
Thats what I would like. But most likely, russia will continue its war, while Europe cowardly doesn't do enough to help Ukraine, leading to freeze in conflict or worse. Then right wing populists come to power in many European counties, reset their trade and dependence on russian resources, which leads russia invading Baltic countries under whatever reason promoted and justified by disinformation on all social networks controlled by dictatorships in China/USA/russia. Europe does nothing, as why would we fight for small Baltic countries and cross moscow's red lines? NATO is no longer functional. Unending deep concerns and appeasement until russia stops at German border and demands back west part. That's no future.
Europe be vigilant.

Considering that I'll be 70 when I live to be 70 in 2040, I don't have much. I sincerely hope that by then there will be no more wars, humanity will come to its senses and live peacefully. But that is certainly not helped by technology or technical inventions. Maybe we will have already made the trip to the moon again, or maybe even humans will visit Mars. But that is also nothing, people will have to take seriously their surroundings, this beautiful planet of ours, and find faith again. Yes, faith, and to consider again even the things described in the Ten Commandments - that is the basis of everything.

It is a beautiful morning in the year 2050. I get up in my smart home, which is fully customized to my needs and has sustainability as its top priority. Energy comes from renewable sources and the house itself controls temperature and lighting based on my preferences.
The streets are quiet and peaceful because all vehicles have become electric and autonomous. No more traffic jams and the air is cleaner than ever. Biking and walking are the most popular ways to get around, and cities are designed with green areas and parks to bring nature closer.
Since 2025, we have made huge strides in health care. Thanks to advanced technologies and personalized medicine, many diseases once considered incurable are now under control. People are living longer and healthier lives, and preventive care has become an integral part of our lives.
Education has also undergone a metamorphosis. Learning is now lifelong, and everyone has access to online courses and virtual classrooms. Children and adults can follow their curiosity and passions regardless of location or socioeconomic status.
Another big change is that we have restored our relationship with nature. Through smart farming techniques and urban agriculture, we have become self-sufficient in food production. We respect and protect the environment, and biodiversity is central to our policies.
It is inspiring to see how far we have come and how we have worked together as a community to create a better future. There is still work to be done, but the progress we have made gives hope for generations to come.
