Of course, this approach is linked to the second strand of the described future, that of active citizenship. In order to achieve this, the people of the Earth will have changed mindsets, the sense of responsibility we all have towards the planet, not only in theory, but in substance, has been strengthened. The world will have mobilised, realising that changes are not taking place by writing 2 whistle-blower paragraphs on the internet that may inspire a proportion of the world, but so far, but need concrete actions, which are organised, cooperative, shared and mass. As active citizens, we will enjoy solidarity, conspiracy and mutual support for each other’s fellow citizens, building on and strengthening the concept of public space vis-à-vis the private one. Everyone’s altruism, feeling of inclusiveness and empathy will have increased.
Every action and every attempt to make a positive change is part of a chain, where each link is linked to the others and it is impossible to fundamentally change the situation if we do not act comprehensively and through all the parts that make up the living system.
