In Europe, wealth inequality has been reduced by the widespread introduction of basic income. At the same time, corporate social responsibility has been developed and tax havens have been brought under full control. Education, science and culture have become more valued than economic success. Europe has seen the planting of large areas of mixed forests, sustainably managed and with a total ban on clear-cutting, thanks to the employment of immigrants. Health care is mainly free, only cosmetic care is paid for. Europe has tightened its ranks to a quasi-federal state, with a high level of security, human rights and a green economy compared to the rest of the world. Europe is economically independent from China and the United States, the Eagles trade mainly with each other. Russia is divided into numerous small states.
European culture is in its heyday and everywhere old buildings have become symbols of culture and are being extensively restored. Urban planning has moved away from capitalist profit-making towards the promotion of prosperity, and the amount of urban greenery has been set at a high level by legislation.
The economic system is changing, capitalism has been abandoned because of the awakening realisation that it is the cause of natural disasters and climate change. Europe is undergoing an intellectual and economic transformation, with a value system based on equality and the protection of nature. Party systems have been abolished and democracy operates on an individual basis: candidates are required to make a sworn declaration setting out the issues they will commit themselves to promoting during their term of office. Elected representatives are subject to scrutiny and are replaced by substitute candidates if there is any objectionable performance.
