I would like to see transportation system of my country-Cyprus to drastically change. I imagine a country with a variety of transportation hubs with several ways being connected such as metro, ferries, train, tram and buses. I also imagine an island that adopts mobility platforms to enable people to plan and book their trips in an efficient and effective manner. I would love also for my country to reduce congestion by leveraging data analytics such as real time traffic updates and encouraging ridesharing, biking and carpooling. All this will not be possible without an upgrade to the road infrastructure through interventions related to signage, but also by improving the road surface, installing safety barriers and managing rainwater.

And instead of arming, we spend money on health protection and equal opportunities for children and adolescents. All this may be possible, but I'll put it between the fairy tales...

I would like to see a future where there has been a major change for the benefit of the environment and the future of the planet. Solar, wind and hydropower have replaced fossil energy sources. Buildings, houses, etc. are equipped to be self-sufficient both in terms of energy and, for example, basic raw materials such as potatoes and the like. Public transport has switched entirely to electric vehicles and there are incredible high-speed trains that can compete with flights between major cities.
