I would like the future to be prosperous enough for a large part of the population, especially in Europe. Prosperity requires politicians and other people in decision-making positions to understand their responsibilities and economic realities. A sound economy makes it possible to pay attention to issues that are important to everyone, such as the environment and good public health. I hope that decision-makers will be able to focus on more than just bottle caps and the number of plastic bags. Ensuring a peaceful environment also requires a strong defensive will. I would love to see countries other than Finland, Poland and the Baltic States seriously investing in defence. In economic terms, I would like Europe to be able to meet the challenges of the U.S. and China. Of course, it requires a great deal of investment in education and research, as well as the use of reason by decision-makers. With regard to the environment, I do not expect a major disaster. Russia could have broken up into several countries.
