I envision a 2040 where humanity has finally learned to live in harmony with nature and technology. For me, the key problem of the present is the climate crisis, and therefore my vision of a better future would be to solve it completely. In this world, cities are green oases where vertical farms on the facades of buildings produce fresh food for local communities. The streets are full of people on bicycles and electric vehicles powered by renewable energy.

The oceans would be clean, full of life, and a global initiative would ensure the protection of biodiversity. Plastic consumption would be significantly reduced, replaced by biodegradable alternatives. Forests that once disappeared would be restored thanks to massive reforestation projects.

In addition, technology would help to reduce inequality. Everyone would have access to education, healthcare and clean water. Artificial intelligence would be used to solve problems, not create them. The year 2040 would be proof that sustainability and technological progress can go hand in hand if people come together for the common good.
