I don't think it will be that different from our current life. Yes, some things will have changed but not very much. Some errors perhaps, might be resolved or get better. Such as healthcare, education and technology will hopefully progress and keep getting better and better. There might be a raised awareness of public mental health and better employment options for young people.

The most important thing is health. And this in every dimension. That is, in the most personal dimension, meaning my loved ones and my own. But what is very related - the health of the community. I would like to see epidemics disappear, and if any beginnings appear, I would like the authorities to be able to deal with it right away. Such a situation could happen when the level of medical services and the level of medicine in general would evolve to a much higher level. The availability of doctors especially specialist doctors would be much better. Medicine would be able to overcome all the currently sowing diseases of civilization. It is also important to raise the public's awareness of health issues to a much higher level. I am thinking here, for example, about vaccinations and preventive health care in general.
Whether I will live to see this time depends largely on medicine and my health, I hope that I will still be able to go outside in the future despite my illness and my age and that I will not be sizzled at 40⁰ or more in summer, that the garden plants will still bloom in lush colors and in a variety and the fauna will not be disturbed, people should live in peace with each other again and politicians should not be older than 67 years, because every "normal person" is sent into retirement at this age and these "...." interfere in the politics of foreign countries and only bring misfortune. Housing should be affordable and pensioners who have worked all their lives should be exempt from tax, it's a mess anyway ...
2040
As we entered 2025, I wasn't particularly optimistic about the state of the planet.
We faced huge challenges with climate change, plastic pollution & biodiversity loss and species extinction.
Despite the challenges, we managed to get a plastics treaty adopted where it was decided to reduce the production of new plastic. The negotiations were tough and the big oil companies were very much against it, but pressure from grassroots groups ensured that the treaty was adopted.
Today, we use many more natural and more recyclable materials. Plastic is no longer the norm that we throw away after use.
The agreement on plastics was the start of the push to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
Many cities pushed for better living conditions and after a few years, several major countries began to make more constructive proposals to reduce greenhouse gases.
Air quality in major cities has improved and this has helped to reduce the number of people falling ill with respiratory infections in cities.
We still have a big task in cleaning up plastic pollution.
Nature must also continue to have time to recover after so many years in decline.
We have slowed down the emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases, but the effects are not yet so clear. However, I am pleased that we are on the right track.
