Here in 2040, we live in the land of Europe. In the time after the war in Ukraine ended, Europe was united to a higher common denominator. For the first time, it was mentioned that we could unite our continent into a single common nation. Time passed, but more and more people came up with the idea. We could gather around all the good things we have together here. The country is very similar to what the United States used to be. They have actually become several smaller independent entities following republican ideology. Our country Europe has been united into one large entity led by an EU Council. The individual countries that were now function as territories with their respective country names. In this way, we can move freely between countries as it has been intended since Schengen. NATO was disbanded by the old US, so we protect ourselves now and we as a power factor are united against the evil that sometimes emerges around the world. In Europe, we now live in cohesion across religions where all of humanity is united with us. No one is different, everyone lives on equal terms.
