Every day starts with fresh air, as fossil fuels have been completely replaced by renewable energy sources such as solar panels, wind turbines and geothermal systems.
A small village in the Czech Republic has become a prime example of how technology can serve people. Anna, a 30-year-old agronomist, wakes up in the morning in a house that regulates its own temperature and recycles water. Her field work is efficient and gentle thanks to drones and robots that analyze the soil and plant crops. In the city, ‘urban markets of the future’ take place, with vertical farms supplying fresh fruit and vegetables directly in the centres.
Between 2025 and 2050, Europe underwent a transformation. After the 2020 pandemic, there was a period of climate solidarity. Countries have invested in research and education.
