Public Transport is popular, and the private car still in our drive, 1 per household. There were only 10 road deaths this year! sad yes, but in compared to 20 years ago. Our Agricultural system is the lowest carbon emitter in Europe per capata. Our soils are regenerating well since the reduction of chemicals and all farmers are now Organic. The family farm in rural Ireland is now a profitable way of life for families. It was found that Mobile Phone usage is bad (as we guessed it would) Kids do not have phones in school nor at home. Its almost like smoking / vaping, we just use the phone if we need to. Alsimers and Dementia treatment of the markers is mainstream now. AI has eradicated all the major illnesses, and our proactive health system can pick up the illnesses before they are even symptomatic, the progress in 10 years has been transformative. This co-exists along with the protection of our environment. An Bord Pleannala / Planning system was reformed. The wind turbines on land were removed and those sites are returned to the communities. Our parks, wilderness areas, beaches, forest / hill walks; all access to all. Leave No Trace principles and training is in every school and community hub. Everyone has a Veg-garden. There is now only one Multistore about 40 miles away! We shop local. I look forward to my step-down retirement from 65, where I keep working for 10/15 years and have time to give back and contribute to society.
