It's now 2040 and so much has changed since 15 years ago in 2025. Transport has changed so much as there are no longer any petrol or diesel cars, electric is the only option fuel option available since 2035.

Another visible change is the abolition of landline telephones, all communication is through mobile networks and most people watch television on portable devices, the concept of the television set in the corner is long forgotten.

The workplace has also been transformed with the increase in the amount of hybrid working and full time home working supported by the increase in data centres and the reducing cost of technology, storage and proliferation of AI world-wide.
