Europe has become a greener continent. We have excellent conditions for vegetation to thrive, and therefore green belts have developed and expanded in all cities. Several trees are planted in towns. Unnecessary logging of forest areas has stopped, as a result of which quite a few previously endangered animal and plant species have spread. More use is made of public transport, which has become more environmentally friendly, and water surfaces have been cleared. For this reason, we have helped to reduce climate change, which also helps our homes by mitigating natural disasters.
