Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

#OurFutures stories by EU citizens
Er Danmark som på mine bedsteforældres tid
A 2040 where different peoples have returned to their place of origin. A Denmark, a Europe without Islamist terror and crowds driven by asylum seekers. Knife attacks by rejected asylum seekers are no longer everyday news. A country where we live safely as when my grandparents were my age. Where we have money for welfare, where we have money for the elderly.
Europa di domani
I would like us in Europe to be less blocked by asphyxiating rules and fixed rules, I would like to see their role given to work, business and well-being, being less guided by ideology and more, much more by common sense. The Europe that I would like should have certain, clear and secure rules for the immigration of people from other countries, to allow everyone, at last, the real possibility of building a future and not of being thrown here and there into the hands of traffickers and criminals who make a profit from their desperate presence, and those who decide to settle here will have to integrate themselves into our Western rules, for common progress.
I want Europe to succeed in the future in establishing rules, norms and laws that are appropriate to the feelings of all countries and that the contribution of each individual nation is recognized and valued as it deserves.
I would be very happy if Europe, in the field of defence and in relations with the other great world powers, regained its authority and autonomy, managing to play a major role in world economic policy and was no longer at the mercy of other countries, the current situation of European industry, on the brink of the abyss, is a result of sudden and wicked choices that have caused incalculable damage to the European industrial structure, just think of the ideologically short-sighted rules on electric cars, which favor other powers to our detriment.
Toiveita tulevaisuudelle
It would be nice if the European economy had recovered and the standard of living of citizens were at least roughly the same as today. It would also be nice if healthcare worked better than it does now and, for example, some kind of medicine had been invented for Alzheimer's disease. Europe could focus on future medical achievements. In 2040, the war in Ukraine would have ended and Russian President Putin would no longer be in power. The reconstruction of Ukraine would be well underway and would also contribute to the health of the economy and the employment of people. In Russia, democracy would finally have prevailed, and other states would no longer have to fear possible attacks or other forms of interference, such as cutting cables, etc. Europe could be at peace and focus on building a better future. Unnecessary regulation could be dismantled in the next few years in order to make European companies more successful on the global market and to save people time and money for activities other than fighting bureaucracy. Abundant regulation is usually a sign of distrust and fear.
Oh, How I Would Love Such a Life
People would finally understand how important it is to save nature. People would support recycling and would be buying less things that they don't really need. Vegetarian options would be more available in cafes and restaurants. People would respect nature and look at it as a gift. There would be a stronger sense of community. Institutions would take social problems more seriously and try to help the less fortunate as best as they can, not ignore the problems. People would be friendlier and more supportive of each other. We would use renewable energy and produce less toxic waste from factories. People would more use public transport and not only use their personal cars when not absolutely needing it which could reduce emissions. Climate change needs would slow down and endangered species would thrive. Clean drinking water and affordable housing would be more accessible to the general public. There would be better working conditions and a lower unemployment rate. There would be work and life balance and people would find time to volunteer and enjoy their families and hobbies.
Miers un labklājība Eiropā
The card in Ukraine has long been completed. All the countries are calm. Nowhere in Europe is there any craving for action and Europe is developing rapidly economically. Latvia is one of the countries where the standard of living is high. The material well-being of the population and comfortable conditions in the labour market are attractive for labour from third countries. The labour market in Latvia is organized and a stable balance between work remuneration and work duties has been achieved, people can pay their bills, educate children and make savings. Riga is a well-groomed city, roads are arranged, the city is clean and continues to develop, showing a positive atmosphere for tourism. Also, the standard of living of another city in Latvia is good, which allows residents to live in their homes and work for the benefit of their country.
2040 Plaan A
2040. Europeans have recognised that our differences are one of Europe's greatest values and that they need a united commitment. That the culture and self-existence of every small fragment of the people are just as invaluable as those of the great ones, whether they have taken root on an Aegean island or in the Lapland tundra buried in castles. This is not some woke wishful thinking, but a conclusion arising from the thermodynamics of living systems. London and Paris have got rid of the illusion that they could still function as independent geopolitical forces on the back of the vanishing aftermath of their lost empires and work creatively together in the common interest of the continent. A workable balance has been found between national interests and the common geopolitical interest, underpinned by a faster decision-making mechanism. Europe is a member of NATO as a whole autonomous bloc and is able to defend its interests regardless of its non-continental allies. Ukraine is a member of NATO and the European Union. Europe needs a strong and self-reliant Africa. In cooperation with African countries and the African Union, their educational and scientific capacities and their economic performance have developed sufficiently so that the accompanying emancipation of women and changes in family models have created the conditions for the pressure of mass emigration to subside. Well, I guess we'll keep looking.
Europa 2.0
1. All products will become services. We will no longer pay with money. We don't have any more possessions. No home no car no appliances. We are going to borrow more stuff and we are going to exchange more, this means that there is a barter. Shopping has become a distant memory. We have found a solution for green energy.
posts, demokrātijas krišana, vārda brīvības atņemšana, savas tautas nodevība no visu valstu visām instancēm.
After Trump came to power and took over Ukraine, he forced the Baltic States to withdraw all NATO forces.
For 10-15 years, Trump conditionally maintained peace in Ukraine, just as the US did in the Middle East, he wipes Ukraine out of all its minerals.
When there is nothing more to dig, the US leaves demilitarized Ukraine and allows Russia to take over it completely. Russia manages this very easily, because there are no NATO forces there and all other countries have already left NATO, after they realized that the US is on one hand with Russia.
Britain has been shattered by the consequences of politics and has become a state of Islam. France has been destroyed and burned. All Germans have left Germany and only immigrants have left.
Polly is the last democracy that does not put its back on Russia's front and fights for its existence.
Europe is destroyed and destroyed by wars and internal unrest.
By 2050, the US, China and Russia sit at a common table and divide Europe into their own minds.
Freedom prevails
Firstly I hope for the war in Ukraine to stop. The US can help with negotiations but Ukrainians should not be losing their land or have to compromise on their freedoms and opportunities to join Nato or other organizations. Russia should be punished for their actions and Ukraine should regain its full independence and freedom.
Resiliencia y Pasión: Construyendo mi Camino
In 2050, Europe has become a continent where technology and sustainability are at the core of its daily life. Cities, once full of traffic and pollution, are now green ecosystems, where autonomous vehicles float silently on floating roads and buildings are covered with vertical gardens that purify the air.
25 years ago, in 2025, the fight against climate change intensified, with a global focus on renewable energy and the transition to the circular economy. During the first two decades, Europe adopted clean technologies, and by 2035, most European countries achieved net-zero emissions. Large corporations began investing in social welfare, and governments implemented more inclusive and equitable policies.
Now, in this 2040 future, education is completely digital and personalized, and people can choose their life paths through algorithms that foster the balance between work, health and well-being. Nations collaborate in global projects that promote peace, and physical boundaries no longer exist, for union is the basis of progress. Europe is an example of how humanity can reinvent itself, showing that the future, when faced with hope and action, is a place full of possibilities.
Framtidsvision
I see the future as a great meeting place for almost all different people. Everyone can communicate with each other and understand that we are different. Take into account each other's differences and accept them. Ideally, I would like to see acceptance of our peculiarities and respond to each other accordingly. What a world we would have.
