Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Housing first
I hope everyone has a roof over their head, at least as a start for socialisation / integration. No more people on the streets at night, a place to find shelter when needed. So that they have one less thing to worry about and can start working on their future. It's a step toward eradicating poverty.
Future Earth 1.5°C
My future will have no borders and there is no nationality, only the society that we trust we will join. The price will be general support for olders/people in needs. There will be houses, where pople live and work togehter, share cars and plant food in the garden. The government will need more groups of experts to help deal with the law/rules. My future is all about finding a way to recover the earth and the damage we did. We have to rethink every step we take interms of the future. In my society has everyone the same rights and obligations and is responsible-if someone fail-that person will serve the others to recover and don't go to prison. The kids need the best education possible to find a way to live on earth. Everyone with a good salary has to pay high taxes.
End of Democracy?
Due to the corona virus, I see the governments starting to turn away from democracy and going toward stratocracy. What I would like to see in 2040 is that the freedom, so many people have died for us to have, will still be prevalent in the human race. I hope that the governments would value the lives of those people who fought for our freedom and respect the human rights and their right to choose (e.g. whether or not they want to be vaccinated). I hope that more effort will be done to help countries in need and that governments would stop using peoples lives (as with the refugees right now) for their political achievements. The greed for power makes way for corruption, stratocracy and genocide as we have seen in the past. I hope that in 2040 the governments worldwide would be mature enough to learn from the past, set aside their personal interests and do what is good and right to prosper their citizens.
The future we deserve
I dream of a prosperous Europe where citizens feel proudly European. A welcoming Europe that no longer lets people drown in the Mediterranean or freeze to death at our borders in the East. A fair Europe, where everyone has access to the same opportunities regardless of their background. A Europe that leads the way in making the world a better place for everyone.
