Inside the first self-sustainable city on Mars - by ABIBOO studio
Construction of the city of Nüwa could start in 2054 and will see 250,000 people live inside the rock of a steep cliff. Freeze my body, melt me in 80 years, and send me to Mars. Architecture studio ABIBOO has revealed its plans to create the first self-sustainable city on the Red Planet, which is set to be ready for residents in 2100. The city will be called Nüwa and will be located at Tempe Mensa on one of the Martian cliffs. Its position inside a rock on the steep cliff will protect its residents from radiation and meteorites (cool!) while still giving them

Utopia is important because it allows us to hope ... Let's imagine! it's spring and the small flowers, violets, pikelets, blueberries, worries..., decorate our gardens without pesticides, without fertilizer because the soil, well worked for years no longer needs all these artificial aids. And children, teenagers run into this garden. They are at peace, they are good because their parents have instilled in them the essential rules of life in society. And the school has trained them by teaching them, not, ready-made formulas that it is enough to know by heart, no, by giving them the opportunity to train in everyday life with the help of the oldest who share their knowledge. And on their plates, at meals, they eat vegetables grown near their homes by responsible farmers. No more ready-made dishes bought in the super markets, almost all of which have disappeared or, at the very least, have changed the way they sell... Utopia!!
Szkoła przyszłości
By 2040, the school will be student-friendly. It will teach you how to acquire and verify information, not just how to reproduce it. Children will use new technologies in a wise and sensible way thanks to the fact that there will be a modern education system. A system that will not be based only on assessments that are not an objective evaluation of knowledge. A system that will educate children in areas that are close to their time. I hope for an education system that will teach young people how to distinguish real information from fakenews.
Lepší pracovní místa pro maminky
Better choice of jobs for mothers with children. Even mothers after motherhood will be able to get a job easily. There will be plenty of jobs tailored just for these moms. They will be able to have flexible working hours. Their work will be well valued financially so that they can take good care of their offspring. There will be no discrimination against women. Maternity women will be able to return to work easily. There will be a welcoming place for all families who will need to find a job.
Autonom fahren
I would love to be able to drive autonomously. This would be especially important for older people from the country, as there are often no shops and doctors there anymore. So you can participate in life even with physical or mental limitations. In addition, the traffic is unraveling, there are fewer traffic jams, the traffic is more fluid and there are fewer accidents.
Moderní digitální věk
I would like even more advanced modern technologies, such as self-driving cars, to be all the more digital and modern. I would certainly like much more modern buildings here in Prague, a lot of skyscrapers and modern glazed buildings, more large shopping centers, etc.
I would very much like to see more American fast foods in the Czech Republic, to significantly expand the number of Subway branches, to have Dunkin Donuts, Arbys, Baskin Robins, Little Ceasars, Dennys and many other brands from the USA come here. Walmart would be great.
Nejasná budoucnost, která může být pozitivní, ale museli by ji vzít lidé do vlastních rukou a použít rozum
The future of Europe is very unclear to me. I imagine it could be very positive, but it would mean that people would take their minds into their hands and start using them. They will overthrow the current leadership and start to think logically and start to care more at the national level. It is impossible for anyone to constantly dictate nonsensical rules to us. Nowadays, we have a plethora of new fantastic technologies that would be useful to use and develop. We need to fight sustainability, teach people to save energy, better sort waste, and produce less. It is necessary to ensure the health of people - to expand education in the care of their own health, to involve modern technology, but still to preserve the privacy of people as such and to provide them with a dignified life, which is decided by themselves, not by the government or other state institutions. The tax burden needs to be reduced and the state needs to be slimmed down. It is also necessary to fight migration, deport inadaptable individuals and ensure order, cooperate on peaceful solutions. In conclusion, I don't trust people anymore, so it's all just an illusion and we are more likely to have a period of decline and problems.

I want a united Europe, not wars or wars. The gap between rich and poor should be very close. There would have to be enough living space, whether for rent or property. Politicians should not only look four years into the future and block everything beforehand. More attention should be paid to the environment, renewable energies, stable prices. Enough doctors and hospitals.
Čistý svět
It's an ordinary morning in 2040. The sun is shining through the window of my apartment and the city is slowly coming to life behind it. Outside, there is a quiet electric tram that connects neighborhoods without the need for cars. Transport has changed significantly over the last 20 years – combustion engines are a thing of the past, streets are quieter and cleaner.
I read a little news at breakfast. Most people today work from home for at least part of the week, which has helped reduce stress and congestion. But I am looking forward to the office – work is different than before, more collaborative and less routine.
On the way, I stop at a small bakery where the clerk serves me fresh bread wrapped in reusable packaging. Waste is no longer carried here – most shops have switched to a circular economy where materials are put back into circulation.
In the evening I walk through the park, which used to be a parking lot. Cities have adapted to climate change, more trees have been planted, and every piece of free space serves people. Life in 2050 is not perfect, but in many ways it is better – slower, more sustainable and focused on quality instead of quantity.

Self-sufficiency.
national self-sufficiency in electricity production (preferably from renewable sources), crop cultivation and food production. Efficient and environmentally friendly management of arable land and water. Reducing livestock production and increasing plant production without pesticides and chemicals that damage groundwater and drinking water.
Equal wage levels across sectors across Europe. The same salary for teachers in Germany as in the Czech Republic. The same pay for workers on the line in a car parts factory in France as in Slovakia. The same subsidies from the common European treasury for farmers who grow safe crops in Austria as in Poland. Stop subsidizing farmers for not sowing and harvesting crops, but just cutting grass in otherwise fertile fields.
Self-sufficiency of households - the production of own electricity, the cultivation of fruits and vegetables, the breeding of animals for meat, eggs, milk, wool and the like. Exchange and sale of raw materials and products between neighbors on markets, between regions at larger exhibitions and between countries using import and export companies.
To make us all healthier, happier and live in abundance and in harmony with nature.
Красивото Европейско бъдеще.
I imagine the future as a green nature.Everything around us to be in green huge trees. To have a lot of green meadows full of flowers. To have a lot
animals in the forests and mountains and no endangered species.Do not exterminate the animals and destroy nature.Cottages to accept tourists , who enjoy the landscapes and do not pollute around.Eco paths ,which lead to beautiful places.Almost all people to sport in the forests ,on the eco paths.I imagine there are many roads that can be nicely asphalted, so that you can quickly and conveniently reach the beautiful places .Balkan ,sea , sights, monuments in different places. All buildings to be renovated,to look completely different from today. To be able to travel in Europe in a very affordable way without borders, checks and barriers.Everyone can afford to visit all places in the country and Europe without problems. The policy of each country to coincide with the policy of all European countries, so that there can be understanding and everything can be right.Let there be no wars that make people fear and worry about their future.I imagine wages to be much better, so that people can afford all these things and not worry that they will not be able to have everything they want. And finally to summarize, I want a single Europe accessible to all and beauty corresponding to our continent.
Une Europe plein d'espoir
In 2050, Europe is a model of sustainability and innovation. Cities are green, with autonomous and electric transport reducing emissions. Renewable energy dominates, allowing carbon neutrality. Technology improves everyday life, especially in health and education. Europe is inclusive, with open borders and a fair society. Between 2025 and 2050, climate and social challenges were overcome through cooperation and innovation, creating a better future for all.
