I'd like future Europeans to communicate in a single language, and for all European governments to make a joint commitment to learning a common language as a living language 1, so that we can communicate more easily and get to know and understand each other better.

The year is 2040 and Europe is green. Trees have transformed cities into more welcoming places. There is plenty of shade, and despite hot days, you can always find a comfortable resting place. People can be found walking, riding bikes or scooters along the streets. Traffic in the city is calm. Riding the streetcar from the windows, you can see children playing in the playgrounds. When you return from work, and even more so on weekends, you can go close outside the city to take a walk in the woods or sit by the water. Lots of often small bodies of water allow for active recreation. When traveling in Europe, there are no borders. Convenient roads , fast trains allow easy movement. At the same time, it is easy to find secluded places and large forest complexes. These are places where nature is governed by its own laws. Animals live in their natural rhythm. Beavers create huge floodplains. The world becomes really green again.

I imagine that everything is digitized and done by robots. As human beings, we have a very comfortable life. At the same time, however, we are competently monitored. All our data is readable and usable by appropriate bodies such as authorities, health insurance companies (if they still exist), banks. The glass man. There is only work in the field of programming, if not done by the self-recognizing AI. I can almost no longer imagine money as a means of payment in this society. The environment is in a condition that we can only live in extra buildings. Education in school will be different from what I have experienced, adapted to the new insights and conditions. These are my thoughts. I would like to travel the world with my boat and see the most idyllic places and live there until I want to continue. However, this requires some conditions, such as an intact environment.

Housing is the biggest issue that is facing many European countries. I really want to see a future where housing is a lot more affordable and a lot more attainable for young people. I think more high rise apartment buildings need to be built in big cities and commuter towns. Make it affordable so our young people will stay in the country instead of emigrating for a better life. It’s becoming more and more tough to imagine a future where people can afford to live where they come from so I think it really needs to start now if we are ever to have a chance to see a better future for our children
