As I sit here drinking my organic replacement coffee and eating a tasty grasshopper chocolate on Feb 17, 2050, I think back to how awful the world looked 25 years ago. On my hologram-phone I can see images from that time. Mass extinction, war in Ukraine and Palestine, Taiwan and China, a galloping climate crisis and climate refugees no one took in. Imagine that the breakthrough in fusion energy and battery technology in 2028 resulted in so much social profit that it led to regime change and democracy in Russia and China and that Trump had to leave power in the US. No one had to fight over fossil fuels and territories anymore. The energy surplus led to a shift in agriculture to small organic farms combined with large, technologically sustainable farms, freeing up huge areas for nature and finally turning the climate tide. In 2050, we still have a long way to go. More people need to go to school, equal access to health is a priority and more CO2 needs to be sucked out of the atmosphere even though emissions are at a global 0. But despite everything, there is hope and the future looks brighter than it did back in dystopian 2025.

Europe-wide engagement events are organised. This will allow Europeans to discuss the challenges and priorities facing Europe, share their ideas and help shape a common future. The people of Europe will have a greater say in what the European Union does and how it works for them. People will be able to voice their opinions, suggestions and ideas about the Europe they want to live in. People will have better health, better access to healthcare. There are no more regions where transport does not move. Europe is self-sufficient and feeds its own people. Agriculture is in the spotlight. Urban populations are moving to the countryside. The rural-urban divide is disappearing. The digital society has evolved. Green energy is used. People are happy.

In the year 2040, the whole planet is very green.New parks have been created,young forests are growing.There are all these concrete settlements, highways and everything that did not allow people to breathe.Everywhere you can see people who use fresh air.Everyone carries in their hands a flower that can be picked up and enjoy their scents because there are so many of them that they create wonderful floral carpets.Everyone is happy and they know that this life looks colorful and is a great sense of the future.Everyone even dances putting their feet on the ground.They stopped tormenting us ecological cataclysms.Nothing strongly does not heat up, and the sun finally gives food for what grows and smiles at it.They do not feel the smoke of big factories.They do not fly over their heads and the clouds cheerfully squirm around the smiling Sun.For this lack of cars that have been replaced with britricles, pupples.The people who have had a good time to walk around.And you can also see the desire to share.

In my future I would like to see a more happy and safe society, where I can send my future children away without pain in the stomach. I want more people to get off the street and in housing. And something I want, which is probably at the top of the list, is to see fewer street dogs and cats that have been beaten or not taken off. I want us to take better care of each other, whether it's animals or people.
