Refilling the "emptied Spain"

The lack of job opportunities in rural areas of Spain has caused the migration of a large part of its population from rural areas to larger cities. This situation has caused what is known as the "emptied Spain", where a great part of Spanish small villages are being abandoned and only the elderly stay there. This reduction of population also carries the reduction of services offered in these areas (such as banks, supermarkets, education or health care) leaving the scarce number of people that still live there with even more reasons to migrate.

However, these small villages already have the infraestructure for larger numbers of people to live there, as most of them have a lot of houses that used to be inhabited but are now empty. A change I would like to see implemented in my home country is a better distribution of the Spanish population throughout the whole territory of the country, so that the congestion that bigger cities are experiencing now could also be solved and people that enjoy the benefits of living in rural areas could have the opportunity to make a life in there.

Politicians and other leaders should be the first ones to encourage this new migration tendency, as the current dinamics are deeply related to economic and job related issues, and opportunities should be created in rural areas. People that are currently online-working could also receive incentives to move to rural areas and establish in there. This way, the current "emptied Spain" could be refilled and the Spanish population would be more fairly distributed.

I think that European life and people in 2040 will be completely different from what they are today. I will in principle be 86 years old, and I believe that if I go out again I will no longer recognise the places I know as they are today. With the immigration of people from communities and religions different from ours, which is growing at a very high rate, it will be necessary to share work and wealth so that everyone lives decently and intelligently. But can I still say that the future of the generations of my children, grandchildren and others anguish me a lot, and that I am not the only one who thinks so?

Utopia is important because it allows us to hope ... Let's imagine! it's spring and the small flowers, violets, pikelets, blueberries, worries..., decorate our gardens without pesticides, without fertilizer because the soil, well worked for years no longer needs all these artificial aids. And children, teenagers run into this garden. They are at peace, they are good because their parents have instilled in them the essential rules of life in society. And the school has trained them by teaching them, not, ready-made formulas that it is enough to know by heart, no, by giving them the opportunity to train in everyday life with the help of the oldest who share their knowledge. And on their plates, at meals, they eat vegetables grown near their homes by responsible farmers. No more ready-made dishes bought in the super markets, almost all of which have disappeared or, at the very least, have changed the way they sell... Utopia!!

Autonom fahren
I would love to be able to drive autonomously. This would be especially important for older people from the country, as there are often no shops and doctors there anymore. So you can participate in life even with physical or mental limitations. In addition, the traffic is unraveling, there are fewer traffic jams, the traffic is more fluid and there are fewer accidents.

I want a united Europe, not wars or wars. The gap between rich and poor should be very close. There would have to be enough living space, whether for rent or property. Politicians should not only look four years into the future and block everything beforehand. More attention should be paid to the environment, renewable energies, stable prices. Enough doctors and hospitals.
